POM-C polyacetal plates and bars
Polyacetal is produced in 2 variants. POM-H polyacetal homopolymer and POM-C polyacetal copolymer. Polyacetal is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic characterized by a low coefficient of friction, good wear resistance and a very low water absorption.
POM-H
Or homopolymer polyacetal is more rigid and with better resistance to impact at low temperatures compared to POM-C.
POM-C
Or polyacetal copolymer has a better resistance to high temperatures, e.g. hot water, and has better thermal and chemical characteristics than POM-H. Parts that must be dimensionally stable in wet environments or submerged, are recommended to be made of POM -C. Applications; gears, levers, connectors, pump components, mud equipment, electronic and office equipment.
